As a company, Akullian Creative is proud of all the work we create, whether we submit it for an award or not. Our patent reads “We Tell Your Story” for a reason, we are storytellers at our core. Sometimes, when the opportunity presents itself, we do submit our work for awards, and we are humbled to have received recognition.

Johnny 2 Phones “Back on Base” Guerilla Marketing Campaign - 2x Judges’ Pick, District 2 Special Judges’ Award and Silver ADDY Award Winner
We know that’s a mouthful, but if you had won all those awards you’d want to list it all out too.
Johnny 2 Phones, a regular at Studio A, was looking to get his song “Back on Base” played at Yankee Stadium over the summer of 2022. As Aces in all things video, animation and design, we knew we could come up with a plan to make this dream a reality.
Over the course of the coming weeks, Johnny would go to Yankee Stadium and engage with fans to make videos that were used to build hype around the song on social media. Over time, our plan had worked, and we grew enough support for Johnny’s new song. After “DM-ing” a one-sheet that explained our plan to the DJ at Yankee Stadium, Jay Jung, we reached the finish line of our campaign when Johnny’s new song was played in Yankee Stadium.
For our efforts, we were awarded a silver ADDY and not one, but TWO Judges’ Picks at our local ADDY Awards in Albany, hosted by CRAF (Capital Region Advertising Federation). After winning locally, our award moved onto the District 2 competition, where our campaign went up against other ADDY winners from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Washington D.C. This time, “Back on Base” took home a Special Judges’ Award to go along with another silver ADDY.
The Anderson Group “Home Offices” - 2x Silver ADDY Award Winner
This project with our clients and neighbors on Wolf Road, The Anderson Group, was an April Fools Day release in 2021. During the COVID pandemic, selling office space became a challenge, so we made the joke that the Andersons were now offering “home offices.”
At the ADDYs, this project won two silver ADDY awards: one in the “Online FIlm, Video and Sounds” category, and another in the category of “Cinematography Single.”
We had a great time putting this project together. As Aces of video, animation and design, there is nothing we love more than telling a story, and when we can bring a smile to someone’s face, that’s an added bonus.
Johnny 2 Phones “22 & Confused” Music Video - 2x Silver ADDY Award Winner
When Johnny needed a music video for his song “22 & Confused,” we called one of his phones and started getting the storyboard together.
This is another project that looks fun because it was. We used all of our video, animation and design skills to make this one happen. Some people dread this kind of edit, but at Studio A, this kind of edit gets us out of bed in the morning. As Johnny described what he had in mind for this video, we knew the end product would be something that his fans would love.
“22 & Confused” brought home silver ADDYs in the categories of “Music Video Editing” and “Film and Video Editing.”
Akullian Creative “We Tell Your Story” - Silver ADDY Award Winner
In Studio A, we are storytellers, especially when it comes to our story. The goal here was simple: show off who we are and what we do in less than a minute. In the end, we got something that not only we liked, but so did the judges of the ADDYs.
Our video showcasing the work we had been doing and highlighting our mission as a company took home a silver ADDY for “Self Promotion Film, Video & Sound.”
One USF - Silver ADDY Award Winner
The University of South Florida needed something to announce the beginning of a new “One USF” plan as a campus, a challenge we were happy to accept. We knew this announcement was going to be electric, and so was the video. This collaboration with the Bulls received a silver ADDY for “Online Film, Video & Sound Commercial.”
